Oreo's Story

Oreo is cute, confident, and extremely friendly—and he knows it. This handsome tuxedo boy loves people and greets visitors like a seasoned host. No shyness here! He's playful, curious, and always looking for his next adventure (or audience).

Before coming to our rescue, Oreo survived a nearly fatal scare after ingesting hair ties, which required emergency surgery to remove them from his intestines. Because of this, he must go to a home that's committed to keeping a tidy, cat-safe environment—no hair ties, strings, or small chewable items left within reach. Oreo's curiosity is strong, and his safety depends on mindful humans.

Brains to match the beauty: Oreo is learning basic commands and already knows sit, stand, and spin. We're still negotiating on “down” and “come,” but he's eager, smart, and clearly enjoys interactive play and mental stimulation.

Oreo needs an engaged, interactive family. If he's bored, he will invent his own entertainment—digging through trash, counter surfing, or pestering a cat who definitely does not want to play. (Honestly, knowing Oreo, we're not surprised he got himself into trouble with those hair ties.)

If you're looking for a social, playful, people-loving cat who will keep you laughing and on your toes—and you're willing to keep his environment safe and enriched—Oreo might just be your perfect match.

Interested in meeting Oreo? Come see if this charming troublemaker steals your heart.

This pet is altered (spayed/neutered), up to date on age appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed and microchipped. An adoption application must be submitted and approved prior to scheduling a meet and greet appointment: www.felinefinecatrescue.org/adopt.
