A compassionate neighbor immediately stepped in to help find homes for the cats and cover their spaying and neutering costs. Oreo is a bit shy at first but with time and patience, he will surely become a loving and affectionate companion. Despite his initial hesitance, Oreo is showing signs of potential and with the right environment, he will thrive. This beautiful tuxedo baby will make a wonderful addition to any family willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel comfortable and secure.

Johnstown Animal Welfare Society's Adoption Policy

Adopters have to complete an application that includes personal references and a veterinary reference. I have volunteers that check on the references, and we confirm that they have properly vetted prior pets. They also have to detail other pets in their current household, and confirm that they will not declaw.
