OREO's Story

I am handsome in my tuxedo ready to meet you! I prefer to be the only pet in in a cat experienced home. If you would like a buddy to spend time with, you may be looking for me. I am about 5 years old; I traded in those crazy kitten days for quiet days watching the birds and thinking about what is for dinner. If you think we could be a match, please come to visit me. Cage life is not relaxing on a couch or stretching out in the sun, where my heart wants to be. I have a special adoption fee. Taunton Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

**PLEASE CALL AHEAD FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET PETS AT THE SHELTER. 508-822-1463** Adopt a "best friend" for life! Please remember that dogs and cats of all ages need and deserve happiness, love, and a home. In return, they will love you unconditionally for all of your years together. We adopt to New England Residents only and require current/past veterinarian references. An application is REQUIRED to adopt an animal. Vet references will be checked, as well as references for those who rent. Adoption of an animal will be based on APPROVED applications only. We do not accept debit/credit cards. Payment must be check or money order with proper ID or cash. If submitting an application for a dog, please email it to rdanielczyk@taunton-ma.gov or gasman6637@icloud.com Dogs are $200.00 and cats are $165.00 (kittens up to 6 months are $185.00). This price includes the spay/neuter, rabies shot, and other required vaccinations.
