Oreo's Story

Oreo – 10 yo Male

Oreo is the sweetest boy even though he came to us severely malnourished with chronic diarrhea. But his foster has been doing her best to figure out what's going on! His senior blood work was fairly unremarkable which was good news but left a mystery! After three food trials, we’ve ruled out a food allergy and have been able to put him back on a normal diet with a small steroid dosage daily. He’s now going on 30 days with no diarrhea and no accidents! He gets consistent veterinary care at Southern Hearts in Watkinsville and his adopter would need to continue to follow his plan of care there or with another vet. And the amazing part is that Oreo has gained a full pound since he's been back in foster care! He LOVES wet food and head pets and scratches. Oreo is good with other cats and all people. Most importantly, Oreo is a big love bug and deserves to live his senior years being adored by a family who can be committed to snuggles and quality care.

Adoption Application - http://fs17.formsite.com/cofas/catform/

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible.

The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $150 for kittens (or 2 for $250); $100 for adult cats (or 2 for $170); and $75 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties.
