Meet Orange Guy--our original OG 🧡<br/><br/>We all have our favorites...let's be honest. OG is mine (don't tell the others--I only whisper it to him).<br/><br/>OG's story isn't an easy one. From what we've gathered, he was dumped at a healthcare center with no homes nearby. Sadly, that's something people do--taking cats far away so they can't find their way back. And when that happens, many cats don't run...they freeze. They hide, terrified, unsure of where they are or what to do next, until hunger forces them to move.<br/><br/>OG carries some of that fear with him. He's a sensitive, nervous, gentle soul, and it's clear he hasn't always been treated kindly. Fast movements or someone standing over him can still make him unsure. But underneath that fear is one of the most loving hearts you'll ever meet.<br/><br/>Lay down next to him, and you'll see his true self--he'll love you endlessly, soaking up every bit of safety and affection you offer. Since his rescue in January, he's been slowly building confidence and learning that he's safe now.<br/><br/>And then...we discovered his superpower.<br/><br/>OG is the most incredible foster dad. I had always kept him separate, thinking he needed quiet and space. But one day, little Miss Sunshine needed a place to go, and OG got a roommate. What happened next was unforgettable--this scared, uncertain boy became a source of comfort. Sunshine ran right to him, and he welcomed her like she was his own. They snuggled nonstop.<br/><br/>Now? He's the foster dad to six kittens. And they adore him. They seek him out, pile up with him, and he gently cares for them in a way that still takes my breath away.<br/><br/>OG may be shy at first, but he is something truly special. The kind of soul that just needs a little patience--and in return, gives you a lifetime of quiet, loyal love. 💕<br/><br/>Please do not use autofill on adoption application. We work carefully with our Veterinarians and foster families to prepare our pets to be a healthy and happy new family member! <br/><br/>Our adoption donations help cover our medical costs, food and transport costs. <br/><br/>All pets are up to date on vaccines, they are flea treated, dewormed, spayed or neutered, and tested for FELV/FIV and Heartworm (if of age). All pets are also micro-chipped. <br/><br/>Cats and kittens are $150 local in Oklahoma and $225 if transported to Colorado. There is a $50 discount for adopting a pair - this is because we love when the fur babies stay forever with a sibling or friend.<br/><br/>Local Oklahoma adoptions donation fee is $225 for dogs.
