Ophelia 's Story

Ophelia 💜

Ophelia was abandoned by her person in the middle of winter. A kind neighbor found her trying to stay warm under their porch and began feeding her until we were able to step in.

Shortly after coming into rescue, Ophelia gave birth to five beautiful babies.

About a week later, we found a feral mama who had delivered four premature kittens. Sadly, two did not survive, and the other two were rejected. We introduced them to Ophelia… and without hesitation, she welcomed them as her own. 💜

Ophelia is two years old and, aside from being an incredible, hardworking mama, she is a super chill, easygoing, and gentle girl. She’s a little talkative, but truly low-maintenance and doesn’t ask for much. She’s an expert couch potato — perfectly content watching the world go by from a window or sitting next to you while you relax.

She gets along great with other cats, but she also has an independent flair where we think she would be just fine as a solo cat as well. She greets everyone with grace and good manners and is indifferent to dogs (because, let’s be honest, she’s a confident queen).

She loves chin and cheek scritches… but fair warning — she has a serious love for rotisserie chicken and will absolutely try to help herself if given the opportunity. 🍗

If interested in adopting please fill out an application on our website
https://www.enfieldcommunitycatproject.com/
