Ophelia's Story

Ophelia is a lovely little lady searching for her prince, or better yet-- her forever home. Rather than a tragic ending, she had more of a troubled start from a severe infection. After some medical help, time, and love, she's all better. Like her name, she only has one eye, but can clearly see her ending is one of happiness and snuggles if only someone opens their home to her.<br/><br/>She has continued to grow into a confident, adventurous, silly, and affectionate snuggle buddy who loves to purr and rub. She would make an excellent addition to any family, as she gets along with people, cats, and dogs alike.<br/><br/>Also consider her siblings (Oberon and Tybalt, or foster mates, the Aristocats!)<br/><br/>Interested in adopting? Lovepaws's Adoption Policy
Our volunteers work as fast as they can to process adoption applications. Upon receiving your application, we will email you an introductory email outlining the steps involved in the app review process and what we we need from you to keep the process moving. We conduct vet checks, reference checks, landlord checks, real estate checks and judiciary checks on all apps before we schedule meet and greets between applicants and our foster dogs. Once an application is approved, the meet and greet is arranged and you and the foster family decide whether the dog is a good fit for your family and home environment.
