Ophelia has had a hard road, but she's shown us just how much sweetness was hiding underneath all that fear. <br/><br/>When she first arrived at the shelter, she was scared, stressed and unsure whether she could trust the people around her. We knew she needed a quieter environment and some time to decompress, so Ophelia headed to a foster home. Little by little, she began to open up. As she's grown more comfortable, we've gotten to see the sweet girl underneath. <br/><br/>Ophelia enjoys gentle pets, playing with her toys, and spending time birdwatching from the window. She may not be the type of cat who immediately runs up to greet a new person, but with patience and kindness, she continues to show just how far she can come. <br/><br/>Ophelia is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to settle in at her own pace.
