Opal's Story

Meet Opal!
Opal was found roaming outside our hospital right at our door! She immediatly took to staff and wanted affection. She LOVES everyone and craves 24/7 attention. Opal has only been with us for a short period. Due to this, we are monitoring her behavior with other cats to see how she interacts. Opal is what is called a TNR. She was trapped, as a feral, spayed/vaccinated and released where she was orginally trapped. This is where she recieved her ear tip as well. Opal is a very loving and people oriented cat. She would most likely thrive in a home where she is the center of attention!

For more information please contact Hartman Veterinary Hospital by email at: hartmanvet3924@gmail.com

If interested in adopting, please send us an email with the pet you are interested in adopting and we will reach out with an application and go from there!

Hartman Veterinary Hospital's Adoption Policy
The adoption fee for our cats ranges from $100-400. It is also non-refundable. If a cat/kitten is not already de-clawed, you may request to not have that procedure done. If you want a cat/kitten to be de-clawed on all four feet, we will do the additional rear feet at cost. We do laser de-claws only at our facility and prefer they are done here. If for any reason one of our cats does not work out at your home, we insist that you bring them back to our hospital and not re-home them yourself. For this reason we ask that you live in the tri-state area of Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana only. We also need the phone number of your regular veterinarian for a quick reference check. We require all our cats who are adopted to remain indoor only pets!!! We adopt out to anyone who meets our requirements. The safety and well-being of children and pets is of the utmost importance here at Hartman. Small children and kittens have been seriously injured when placed together.
