Opal's Story

Opal is a long, lean purring machine! She is the purrfect cat for someone who wants a companion who loves to lay by their feet and purr. She also loves to weave around your legs and purr loudly. She doesn't mind other cats as long as she still has her own space and is introduced slowly. She seems to do better with cats her age or younger. Because of her athletic build, she is very playful and runs really fast when she is chasing toys! She hasn't been around kids that we know of but might do well as a companion for an older child who can spend time playing with her.

Adoption applications can be filled out online at www.catscradleva.org or in person at one of adoption venues:  Waynesboro Petsmart from 10:00 - 2:30 on Saturdays and Harrisonburg Petsmart from 10:00 - 2:00 on Saturdays.  The Downtown Center, located at 122 S Main St. Suite 101, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
