Opal is a beautiful kitten that is turning into a gorgeous adult and Queen Bee. She enjoys playing with other cats, loves her time basking in the sunlight on a cat tree or other cozy spot, loves watching birds at the birdfeeders outside the window, and has discovered treats and people food are awesome.<br/><br/>She is definitely more of "admire me from a distance" sort of gal with people in her foster homes. We are not sure if she will ever be a cat that wants attention from people. If someone continues to work with her, she may get less aloof, or she may continue to prefer the company of cats to people.<br/><br/>That said, she would be an excellent playmate for another cat or cats. In her foster home, she follows one of the adult male cats around, determined to be his snugglebuddy.
