Oolong's Story
Oolong is a petite young (1-2 years old) short-haired black cat looking for her forever home. She is confident and friendly with people, immediately greeting anyone who walks in the door (and seeing them off when they go). She loves pets and is warming up to the idea of snuggles.

Oolong is a big fan of batting around a catnip toy, chasing a wand toy, and chewing on a peacock feather. Though she's young and playful, she's also down for a nice long nap and can be very chill much of the day. Oolong is a vocal kitty, meowing, chirping, and (when annoyed) growling freely. Though she enjoys using her voice, she honors quiet hours in the house and doesn't disrupt her human's sleep. She will let you know if she doesn't like something with a soft paw tap or gentle nip, and sometimes her boundaries can be a little variable. In other words, she's a little bit of a diva, and who doesn't love a big personality?

Oolong would thrive as a solo kitty. She is currently being fostered with another adult cat and has done okay with a slow introduction (and the acknowledgement of the other cat that she is the queen). We're not sure how she would do with a dog. She is not a good fit for a home with young children.

Please head to our website to fill out an application prior to setting up a meet. Negative test for FIV and FeLV.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the pets in our care.
