Omaha: Big-Pawed Toy Chaser Who Plays Hard and Naps Even Harder<br/><br/>Hi, I'm Omaha! I have two speeds: full-throttle play and asleep sitting up.<br/><br/>I was born with my four siblings in a trailer park, where the neighbors all knew us and a kind woman made sure our mom had food and helped our whole family get safely into foster care. She called Fitchburg Friends of Felines, who set up camp on Memorial Day weekend, and on D-Day, we all came crashing down down into a who new world of indoor life, no longer at war with the dangerous enemy of outside. That is how we kittens got our names: Mom was already named Jake, because the neighbor thought she was a he. So, the humans call her Jacqueline now. But me and my posse of siblings are all named after the beaches of the Battle of Normandy. So cool for the history buffs!<br/><br/>Momma did an excellent job raising us, and I did an excellent job becoming the biggest kitten in the litter.<br/><br/>I take my position as big brother very seriously. Especially with Sword, my partner in crime. He and I are BFFs. I'm often the fastest one chasing a toy with everything I've got, the first one investigating something new, and—purely by coincidence—the kitten most enthusiastically supervising the wet-food bowl. With my oversized paws, I'm on track to grow into a magnificently large fuzzy orange gentleman.<br/><br/>I'm brave, friendly, curious, and extremely playful. Whether theres a toy to conquer, a window to inspect, or other important kitten business happening in another room, I want/need to be involved. But once playtime is over, I will commit just as enthusiastically to relaxing. I've even been known to fall asleep while sitting up because apparently lying down requires energy I've already spent.<br/><br/>For all my big-kitten confidence, I'm also super sweet and a total mush. Pick me up and my tough-guy act disappears, and I become a cuddly armful of orange fluff.<br/><br/>My ideal home will include Sword, my littermate who is equally as adorable, but a bit more formal (as he is a black and white tux), who is my wrestling buddy and keeps me from terrorizing the rest of your household.
