Olivia Jenny (OJ)'s Story
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Olivia Jenny (OJ) , a shy and secret cuddle bug who's waiting for just the right person to love her forever. OJ is approximately 4 years old.

OJ is a somewhat rare female marmalade tabby cat. In keeping with her rare breeding, OJ is indeed a special girl.. After an early life as a pet, OJ was lost and lived on the streets for about 3 years before being found living among feral cats in South Seattle.

Returning to indoor life, OJ was reminded that she is indeed a house mouse and never wants to go outside again. She loves the cozy indoor life. OJ is shy but loving, typically preferring one person above all. Her favorite things are "cookies," a nighttime cuddle and her feather toy.

What OJ is looking for in a home:

- She's new to indoor life with humans, so she needs a kind and patient guide to help her continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers make her nervous.
- She'll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
- She feels at ease in a quiet and calm environment.
- She needs to live indoors only.
- She prefers to be the only cat in the house.
- She prefers to be the only pet in the house. She needs children to respect her space.
- She has no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in adopting OJ If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt her by filling out this questionnaire: https://alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response.
