Olivia 's Story

How the Cat Community Came Together to Rescue Faz and Olivia! 🩷💜

Last week, we received an unexpected call from the vet clinic letting us know that one of the cats we brought in for TNR was already spayed and microchipped. We were given the owner’s contact information, and one of our volunteers reached out to learn more about her situation.

We soon discovered that this sweet girl, named Faz, and her sister Olivia had been living in a parking lot just one business over from one of our managed colonies since late January. Their owner has been experiencing homelessness for the past few months, and the shelter they were staying in does not allow pets.

Despite these difficult circumstances, she and her son visited the area twice a day to feed and care for Faz and Olivia. Whenever they had a safe place to stay outside the shelter, they brought the girls with them. After a long and heartfelt conversation, their owner made the selfless decision to surrender Faz and Olivia so they could be safe indoors and have a chance at a stable future. They were relieved to know the girls would be cared for and loved.

Our wonderful friends at the Pet Placement Center have since welcomed these beautiful 3‑year‑old sisters, and they are now officially available for adoption. This has been an emotional journey, but we are grateful that Faz and Olivia now have the opportunity to find a forever home.

Please remember that Faz and Olivia’s owner loves them deeply and is thankful for the support that helped bring them back indoors.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $85 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq
