Oliver

OLIVER is a male-neutered medium hair brown tabby/white cat. He was born about February 2023, then rescued in May 2023 as one of a stray cat's litter. He was surrendered to YAPS February 2026 because he was being intimidated/bullied by some of the aggressive dozen or so other cats in the owner's home. We find him to be very gentle, loving, & playful, with a beautiful coat. Oliver is stressed by the loss of his prior home & move to YAPS, so he's initially shy with strangers. He often doesn't come to you for affection, unless you sit quietly to await his move. He LOVES being petted in his resting place, & often "talks" to you with meows as you approach him. He likes to play with feather toys on a wand, & accepts being held for short periods. He gets along well with non-aggressive cats. When adopted into a new home, he should initially be placed in a "safe room" without other cats, allowing him to adjust to his new surroundings at his pace.
