Oliver & Co.: Einstein's Story

Meet Einstein, a handsome little kitten who looks just like his sister Rita — but with a white spot on his neck and without the sassy attitude! Einstein is a gentle, shy boy who can be a little startled around humans at first, but his sweet nature quickly shines through once he feels comfortable.

He loves spending time wrestling and playing with his kitten siblings and can often be found happily lounging in boxes, his favorite cozy hiding spots. Einstein's gentle demeanor and playful personality make him a wonderful companion for someone willing to give him a little patience and love as he builds confidence.

As a general rule, we recommend that young kittens only go in pairs or to households that already have another pet. Young kittens on their own, no matter how much attention they get from humans, usually get bored and tend to be more destructive. They need another animal to help socialize them (to learn how to appropriately wrestle, boundaries, etc). Most times having another cat is the best, though some may be okay with a gentle dog.

You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page: Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue

All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted. They have had de-worming medication as a standard of care and Flea/Tick/Ear Mite preventive treatment. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.

Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue's Adoption Policy
The Foster Home Advantage: Because we are a 100% foster-based rescue, the kittens haven’t spent their youth stressed out in a shelter cage. We do not foster in cages. They are "home-tested!" So we already know their personalities, whether they love human company, respects a home routine, and spend a lot of time to make sure we are describing each carefully so that you know the type of kitty for which you are applying. Adoption Details: We work towards making the purrfect match for each kitty and each home. Because we prioritize their lifelong safety, our adoption process requires a live virtual safety walkthrough after our verifications and vet references. If you are an open-book adopter ready to welcome these precious kittens into your heart, apply to adopt today!
