Obi's Story
Meet Obi, our brown tabby beauty with the world’s cutest resting angry face. Don’t let her serious expression fool you—this sweet lady is soft, gentle, and sweet as a button once she knows you’re a friend. And yes, she’s named after the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi… because beneath that fierce little face is a heart of pure Jedi calm.

Obi has lived with dogs, cats, and children, although she is cat selective. She’d do well in a home with other animals, especially with slow, thoughtful introductions to help her feel confident and at ease.

If you’re looking for a loving companion with a little sass in her expression and a whole lot of sweetness in her soul, Obi just might be the tabby you’re looking for.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid
