My name is Obaidah and I am a black domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 10 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 05/16/2026 due to the fact they leaving for the summer and couldn't find anyone to take care of me while they are gone. They were my family for 9 months. I am used to being an indoors cat. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I can be good with men, women, and while I have not spent time with children in my new home, the shelter guesses I would be good with children. I can be good with other cats and I am scared of dogs. I may be okay in a home with a quiet, cat-savvy dog. My owner had this to say about me: He is very playful and affectionate. He likes sitting on people’s laps by himself and enjoys being hugged. He is very friendly and does not push people away. He also hates being alone and is used to always having someone around him.
