Hi, I'm Oatmeal. I came to the shelter on 4/8/26 when my owner could no longer care for me. I wasn't in the greatest condition and was covered head to toe in fleas. I was nervous when I first came as I didn't really understand what was happening. I quickly learned that not every human is scary and I actually love attention. I would need to be the only cat as I can be a little territorial towards other cats<br/><br/>All Im missing now is a cozy home and someone to love me forever. Maybe that someone is you? I am about 5 years old. Would you like to stop by and visit with me? Please call 518-842-8050 to make an appointment. Thank you and I hope to see you soon!

This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
