I came to the shelter when my owner could no longer care for me, but I haven’t let that dull my sunny personality one bit. I absolutely love attention from people, so if you’ve got a free hand, I’ll be right there to claim it for pets and chin scratches.<br/><br/>I’ve got a playful side too, whether it’s chasing toys or turning everyday moments into a little adventure. And if you already have feline friends at home, that’s no problem—I get along well with other cats and would be happy to share my new kingdom.<br/><br/>All I’m missing now is a cozy home and someone to love me forever. At the Montgomery County SPCA, we are dedicated to finding responsible, forever homes for all the pets in our care. To that end, we have created a thorough adoption process which helps us achieve this goal. This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
