Nutmeg's Story
Meet Nutmeg, a six-month-old kitten and proud graduate of Kitten Bootcamp. 🧡

Nutmeg arrived at the shelter with her feral mom and three siblings, having never known indoor life. Over the past several months in foster care, she’s been learning all about the wonderful world of cozy beds, fun toys, and the surprising discovery that humans are actually pretty great.

Of the group, Nutmeg is one of the more outgoing students in the program. She loves being near her people and will happily follow you around the house to see what you’re doing—and to politely request a few pets along the way. She’s even happy to be held for short snuggles before she’s ready to get back to her next adventure.

Playtime is Nutmeg’s absolute favorite subject. Wand toys, balls, crinkle toys—you name it, she loves it. If it moves, rolls, or jingles, Nutmeg is ready to chase it.

Nutmeg also absolutely loves other cats and has grown up surrounded by her foster friends. She must have another friendly cat in her new home to help show her the ropes, and she would be especially happy to be adopted with one of her foster buddies, Candy Corn or Candy.

Because she can still startle easily at times, Nutmeg will do best in a home with older, cat-savvy children or adults who understand that she may need a little patience as she continues adjusting to new surroundings.

With her playful spirit, curious nature, and growing love of people, Nutmeg is well on her way to becoming a wonderful companion.

Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying!
