Nutmeg's Story

Nutmeg's foster has loving stars in her eyes when she describes him....

Nutmeg is a very friendly, affectionate and playful fellow. His mew is more like a chirp. So so darn cute!!!

You can now meet him at Pet Smart in Hardeeville, SC.

At Pet Smart he is living with his sister Georgia who is quite a diva and rules the roost. She lets him know that she is and he mildly just walks away from any argument. Peacemaker kitty. Such a good boy!!!

He has a very soft and silky fur coat purchased on either Rodeo Drive, 5th Avenue or Michigan Avenue. Not really but it is very luxurious fur shore.

Nutmeg was with his mom and 2 sisters when HAL trapped and rescued them last summer from the dangerous outdoors. He is now 7 months old and getting more handsome everyday.

Nutmeg right from the start was easy to socialize...he has a calm purrrrsonality and very gentle mannerisms.

He is very affectionate and inquistive. Always loves to cuddle and always checking out new stuff that comes into his life.

Nutmeg hasn't been around young children but his foster momma doesn't think that he would object as long as the children are kind and calm with him.

Foster mom separated Nutmeg and his mom and sibs from her dogs. But foster mom adopted one of his sisters and she blended in with her dogs seamlessly when she joined her pack. Flexible kitties fur shore.

Nutmeg has had months of hearing backing and smelling her dogs. Guess you can say that he has been desensitized to dogs and isn't threatened by them.

Nutmeg loves to play with his littermates, plastic balls and feather wands and his favorite is the red laser pointer.

Come to Pet Smart and watch him play with the toys in his room. He jumps, flips, twists and does all kinds of acrobatics when he plays. He has Kitty Olympic potential.

Has foster mom told a great story about this sweet boy??? I think she has and now it's your turn to find out for yourself how Nutmeg will love to be with you in your loving home.

His foster adores him and hopes his future adopter will see just
how precious Nutmeg is in every way.

Nutmeg's bags are packed and he is ready for a Meet and Greet with you. If you would you like to meet Nutmeg please complete the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) adoption application located on our website.
