Meet Nureyev, a gorgeous male domestic shorthair kitten with orange fur and tabby markings. <br/><br/>He was born in Northern Ontario and came to Toronto the next day with his mother and three siblings. He is currently living with them, his older cousins, his foster mom and her two young children.<br/><br/>A confident kitten, Nureyev was the first to leave the kitten box, the first to climb furniture and to climb stairs. He loves sleeping in the hammock on his cat tree. This boy is an adventurer whos going to explore every part of your home and then snuggle up beside you to nap.<br/><br/>Nureyev knows chaos and he knows calm he thrives in both. He will be ready to go to his forever home as of June 18, 2026.<br/><br/>Nureyev must be adopted with one of his siblings. **Kitten Policy** Please note: Kittens require the companionship of other kittens and the younger the kitten the more this is so. It is a developmental need. If you do not have animals at home and you only want one cat please look at kittens 6 months or older. By this time in their life we know which cats need the companionship of other animals and which ones would prefer to live without other animals. We provide an adoption service and want to match the right cat with the right home. It is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of 6 months to a home without other young cats/kittens for company. Please bear this in mind when calling to adopt. *** Due to an unprecedented demand (especially for kittens) we regret that we are unable to respond by phone to all of the applications we are currently receiving. We are only able at this time to phone those applicants who have sent in an online adoption application, can provide a vet reference and their criteria matches what the particular cat or kittens' needs are. We regret any inconvenience caused as we do our best to meet the overwhelming demand we are currently experiencing*****
