While his foster dad was driving down the freeway last fall, he noticed what he thought to be road kill, but quickly discovered was Nugget. He managed to turn around and find a place to park so to try and help this little guy. It was a challenge! Not only did Nugget want nothing to do with him, he kept running back into the road! Finally, he was captured and brought home for some TLC. He was in pretty bad shape at first but quickly started improving both in health and in demeanor. He now loves to play and wrestle with his kitty friends. He is, naturally, a bit shyer to people and new places, but once he does warm up he is extremely loving, affectionate and cuddly. Nugget is so hopeful that he will find the perfect family to give him the love and cat treats he desires.
