Nugget (courtesy post)'s Story

Project MEOW is listing Nugget as a courtesy to one of our local cat rescuers! If you are interested in adopting Nugget, please reach out to Jennifer at jennvereecken1@yahoo.com.

Personality Types:
Private Investigator – curiosity knows no bounds and is always finding the hidden nooks and corners of your home.
Professional Cuddler – can be found on or near you at all times.

This is sweet little Nugget. (She only barely weighs 8lbs, hence her name!) Don’t let her grumpy face fool you! She is an ANGEL. She showed up about a year ago - already far more affectionate than most alley cats, but disappeared for the whole winter. Once spring came along, she came back to me and didn’t leave my porch all summer. The weather started to get cold again I brought her inside… and boy, has she adjusted! She is the perfect house cat. She’s very affectionate and loves to be pet and make her little kitty biscuits. She is still learning what play is, but it’s only been 3 weeks since we brought her inside. Besides that, she’s perfect. She's very mild-mannered, quiet, uses her litter box, and in general, a very good cat. I would love to keep her, but my cat is VERY high-energy and twice her size, so they don’t gel as much as I’d like them to. I would recommend Nugget being an only cat or in a home with another very easy-going cat.

Nugget is 2 - 4 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, and litter box trained.

Nugget's adoption fee: $75

Project MEOW is listing Nugget as a courtesy to one of our local cat rescuers!
