He loves attention and gives great headbutts. When you reach out to pet him on the head, he rolls over, pressing his head into your hand, so you have to keep rubbing and petting him. The belly is off limits, and he doesn't like his back scratched.<br/><br/>When I brought him home, he came right out of his carrier to cautiously look around, but with his tail held high. He investigated all the rooms he had access to an claimed the foot of my bed as his personal space for all naps. But at night he sleeps under the bed. I did give him a cat bed for him to use, but he seems to like sleeping on the floor or at the foot of the bed when no one is in it.<br/><br/>He's not really a picky eater, and he loves treats. he eats pate and food with sauces and gravies. The squeezable treats and the stews and broths are also favorites. And he loves his dry food.<br/><br/>At 8 years old he does play and loves catnip. It's his favorite thing. He has several catnip toys and one wand toy that he plays with. Those are his and will be coming with him to his new home. He also likes laying on the windowsill in the sunshine. He doesn't like loud voices or the shaking of a plastic trash bag. He has been exposed to different people at my home, he likes everyone. No issues with the litterbox, no accidents. Since I have no young children, I don't know how he would be with kids but I do know he doesn't like loud noises as mentioned above.<br/><br/>All in all, November would be a great quiet companion. He doesn't talk a lot, loves attention, and is a good cat. He also likes ice cubes in his water, and using the pet stairs at the foot of my bed. he has no issues jumping, I think sometimes he likes the stairs."<br/><br/>November would do best in a quiet home with older children, he also would be prefer no dogs in the home. November has had mixed reactions with other cats in the past but an adoption counselor would be happy to discuss proper introductions between other cats leaving the ARLGP.
