Novella's Story

Meet Novella! This sweet girl is still a bit of a closed book as she gets used to the shelter, but we can tell she has a beautiful story to tell.
Novella is a 1 and a half year old spayed female Domestic Shorthair/Siamese mix. Those gorgeous blue eyes immediately drew us in, and we could immediately tell this girl was something special.
Novella was surrendered to us alongside her brother, Weston, who has his own listing. The pair came to us through no fault of their own when their owner realized they just didn’t have time to care for their pets. Novella and Weston do not have to be adopted out together, but if you are considering a pair, there is a discount when taking two pets at once!
Novella is feeling pretty nervous right now as she adjusts to shelter life. She’s had a pretty chaotic last few months, as she was only recently removed to the owner that surrendered her to us. She’s not shown us any aggression, and instead prefers to hide on the top shelf of her condo where she can safely watch everyone go by. She will gladly accept love and rub on our hands when we pet her, but it’s going to take time for her to feel comfortable to ask for attention. We are sure that once she’s out of this stressful environment and back into a stable home, she will truly thrive!
Novella has spent her life with her brother na diets along great with him. Her previous owner wasn’t sure if she’d been around dogs or kids before, but he thought she may have met some in her first home. With her being timid, she should be supervised around any children in her new home until she can get used to them to ensure they aren’t pushing her boundaries.
Novella has received her first round of vaccinations and is litter box trained. If you’re willing to take a chance on her and help to write the beautiful story her life is sure to become, then don’t wait - come out and meet Novella today!
