Nova's Story

Hello, my name is Nova. Although... lets be honest. The name does'nt matter much, because I don't respond to anything. I'm a queen, after all, and queens expect to be treated accordingly.

My Story I'm a beautiful young tortie who was found with my litter of kittens and taken to the shelter. I nearly worked myself to the bone keeping those babies alive. When I arrived in my foster home, I weighed just over 4 pounds and had an infection — but I've been fighting hard to get healthy and learning to trust humans at the same time.

My Personality I play hard to get. My foster says its a cat thing, but it might also be because I grew up as a street cat without much love before this wild human scooped me up. I need time, patience, and understanding while I decide you're worthy of my affection.

My Home Requirements I'm litter box trained and absolutely committed to indoor living. I've done my time outdoors, and I'm very much enjoying the comforts of a safe, cozy home.

Could We Be a Match? If you think I might be the challenge you're looking for — a little sass, a little spice, and a whole lot of tortie attitude— you can apply to meet me. My foster mom will reach out after I've reviewed it and given her permission.

Nova has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for Felv/Fiv and is microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Nova, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
