Nosey's Story
NOSEY needs a SAVIOR!!!

Nosey is a very sweet, beautiful young adult cat. But she is terrified. We have no idea what her life was like before she was turned in to a animal control in a neighboring county with her kittens. She arrived with us in April with tiny kittens. Her entire time in the kennel was spent in the very back, attempting to hide. Now, she was a good mama, she fed and cared for those kittens, but she wanted nothing to do with people. She is not feral in the least. She can be held and taken out of the kennel and held. She doesn't really like it, because she is frightened and unsure. She considers the shelter a horror house -- too many people? Too many other cats? We don't know we just know she isn't happy. Once her kittens were able to care for themselves, we put her in our adoption room so she could mingle with other adults if she chose and not be in a kennel. She managed to escape, not only once, but twice. Each time she was discovered hiding in a corner of a closet. She is now back in a large carrier by herself. We need someone with lots of love, patience and a quite home who can provide this girl a home where she can know she doesn't need to be scared.

It is possible she will be a shy, quiet girl all her life. We just don't know. She may eventually understand the love that is being given to her and come out of her shell and love right back. She is all vetted and ready, she just needs that person. Since Nosey is a very special case, if you are someone who will be willing to help this girl out, we will just ask for a nominal donation to go toward her vetting as an adoption fee. We do feel she needs to be an indoor cat because if she is put out she will probably just run away. If you are that special person and want to meet her, please let us know.
