Nosey's Story

Spayed Female
1 Year and 10 Months
11 Pounds
$40

Nosey is a beautiful 1-year-and-10-month-old spayed girl with a gentle spirit and a quietly loving personality. She may be feeling a bit scared in the shelter right now, but don’t let that fool you—she’s truly a very nice girl who just needs a calm, caring home to feel safe again.

Nosey does well with other cats and shares a special bond with her brother, Georgie. They would love to be adopted together if possible, as they help each other feel more confident—but she can also do well on her own with a patient and understanding adopter.

Because she’s a bit timid, Nosey would do best in a quieter home with older children who can give her the space she needs to adjust. Younger kids can be overwhelming, and she may hide when she feels unsure.

With time, love, and a peaceful environment, Nosey will come out of her shell and show you just how sweet and gentle she really is. She’s the kind of cat who will quietly steal your heart.

Could you be the one to give Nosey the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for?

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.

Want to Know if I’m Still Available?
Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability. If you’d like to show you’re thinking about adopting, please fill out an application on our website under "Adopt" at www.hsomc.org.

Open Adoption Hours:

Tuesday & Wednesday: Noon – 6 pm

Thursday & Friday: Noon – 7 pm

Saturday: Noon – 4 pm

I’m located at the Humane Society of Midland County, 4371 E Ashman St, Midland, MI 48642.

We can’t wait to meet you and help you find your new best friend!
