Norman's Story

NORM!

When Norman enters a room, you can't help but notice him, and not just because he's a big, handsome boy. There's something about this cat that makes you want to call out his name , sitcom-style. He's got that "beloved regular" energy, the kind of cat who makes every day feel a little brighter just by being around.

Norman is friendliness personified. This easygoing guy doesn't know a stranger, only friends he hasn't cuddled yet. He's the type of cat who will greet you at the door, follow you from room to room (not in a needy way, more like a "hey, what are we doing next?" way), and genuinely seem delighted by your mere existence. His enthusiasm for human company is both endearing and infectious.

But Norman's story has a serious chapter: he was once tossed outside and left to fend for himself. He hasn't forgotten what it felt like to lose everything, and he never wants to experience that again. Norman is an indoor cat through and through; he's done with asphalt, uncertainty, and the harsh realities of outdoor life. What he needs now is a home where he'll always be safe, always be wanted, and always be Norm.

This big boy has the perfect balance of playful energy and lap-cat devotion. He'll enthusiastically chase toys and bat around anything that moves, then settle onto your lap like he's claiming his rightful throne.

Norman thrives on being the center of attention (and let's be honest, he deserves it), making him perfect for a family that wants an interactive, affectionate companion. He also gets along beautifully with other cats, so if you've got a feline-friendly household, even better.

Ready to yell "NORM!" every time he walks into the room? This big-hearted boy is ready to be your most loyal regular.

The Lucky Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
We have a multi-step adoption process. While we try to process our adoptions as quickly as possible, our cats are very important to us, so we do our best to ensure they go to homes that will be the best possible fit for them. * Adoption application: we have a 1 page application, requesting landlord pet policy verification (if renting), personal references, and a veterinarian reference (if you currently have other pets) * Meet and greet: we ask that all members of the household meet the cat in person before adoption. This makes sure the cat is a good fit for everyone. * Home delivery: we will deliver the cat to you, and will help you get the cat settled in its new home! This also serves as a low-key "home check," so please be prepared to allow us inside the home. That will also make it more comfortable for all of us as we finish up the paperwork and walk you through your new cat's vet records! * Return policy: we will take any of our cats back at any time and for any reason. As part of our adoption contract, if you are ever no longer able to keep the cat, we expect the cat to be returned to us (please do not try to re-home them yourself). Due to our home deliveries and return policies, with rare exceptions we do not adopt to homes outside of New Jersey. Thank you for understanding.
