Nora's Story

Meet Nora!
She'll follow you from room to room supervising, and if you bend down near her, she’ll launch herself onto your shoulders. She's been known to ride around, nap up there, and just loves being part of whatever you’re doing. She drools a little when she's really happy, which is weirdly cute.

When she's had enough socializing she'll hop down and go do her own thing. She's got great boundaries and a healthy sense of when to clock out.

Playtime is serious business for her. She makes huge vertical leaps, regularly does zoomies up the cat tree, and loves chasing her housemates. She raised five kittens so she reads other cats well, and does best with a confident feline companion who can handle a little playful chaos, but she could also thrive as an only cat as long as her people are around to give her plenty of love. She does fine with dogs as long as they mind their own business.

Nora has been through a few homes through no fault of her own, and she deserves a home that sticks. She's affectionate, adaptable, and fully ready to become your shadow, your shoulder buddy, and your most devoted coworker.

DOB: 1/22/22

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age-appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. We do require a completed application prior to setting up a Meet & Greet in a foster home. Urban Cat Coalition's Adoption Policy
Adoption Process We are a best match rescue. Our goal is to match the individual pet to where we feel they would be most successful. It is not necessarily first-come, first-served for approved applications. After selecting a cat or kitten you are interested, or if you intend to adopt a cat chosen by our match makers, an application is filled out. Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/UCC/Cat The Urban Cat Coalition adoption team will perform background checks, veterinarian reference checks and landlord checks. Once the application review process is complete, you will be contacted by one of our match makers and then you will be put in touch with the foster home to arrange a meet and greet (virtual or in-person) with the kitty you want to adopt. Once you have met the kitty, you and the foster home will decide if it is a good fit. After this step, we have a 24 hour hold to allow you time to be sure adopting is the right decision. The foster family will stay in touch, and they will arrange the final adoption, provide a contract to sign and they will give you the physical copies of the cats medical records. Once they return the contract to our admin, we will email you digital copies of all medical records and register the microchip to you. Please note applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for adopting a cat from Urban Cat Coalition. Adoption fees: • Kittens (Under 7 months) $165 or $305 for two kittens. • Adults (7 months and over) $85 Services included in the adoption fees: - FVRCP Vaccines (appropriate for age of kitten/cat) - Rabies Booster if over 5 months old (Good for 1 year from date given) - Preventative Dewormer - Checked for fleas and ticks - Spay/Neuter - Microchip with lifetime membership
