Noor's Story

Noor is a gentle, loving 8–9 month old kitten whose name means “light” a fitting contrast to the challenges she has already overcome.

Her rescue journey began in Saudi Arabia, where a dedicated local caregiver noticed her struggling to survive on the streets. He was one of the few looking out for her, making sure she had a chance to eat and patiently staying nearby so stronger cats wouldn't push her away. When Noor suddenly lost her sight, her situation became even more dangerous. Unable to see, she often wandered under parked cars, and her safety was a constant worry.

Despite limited resources, the decision was made to bring Noor to safety. She received full veterinary care in Saudi Arabia, including a thorough checkup and spay surgery giving her the fresh start she desperately needed.

Now safe, Noor's true personality is shining. She is incredibly affectionate, cuddly, and deeply connected to people. She seeks out gentle attention and forms strong bonds with those around her. She also does well with other cats and, once she feels secure, navigates her surroundings with surprising confidence.

Blind cats like Noor adapt beautifully, relying on their other senses and thriving in stable, loving homes. Noor may not see the world, but she feels it fully and what she offers in return is pure sweetness, trust, and companionship.

Noor is ready for a calm, caring home where she will be safe, cherished, and loved for the rest of her life. After everything she has been through, she truly deserves nothing less.

*Noor will be arriving in the United States soon and will be ready to go to her forever home on June 17th.*

An approved application is required to meet any of our shelter pets, please visit our website at paws4survival.org to submit an application.
