NOODLES's Story

NOODLES is a sweet, 9 year old, spayed, DILUTE TORTOISESHELL EXOTIC SHORTHAIR. She has copper eyes and is 4 paw declawed. She is just over 5 pounds, and is absolutely tiny. She could still stand to gain a couple of pounds, but she has had a dental, with zero extractions, and her bloodwork is fabulous for a 9 year old. She has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative, and is ready to go to her forever home.

Noodles came from a home where she was the princess until they got a Yorkie, which then demanded all the owners time, leaving Noodles with no attention at all. Because she is 4 paw declawed, she will likely develop arthritis at some point and may need a softer litter, but at this point, she uses regular clay clumping litter, including the litter robot, with no problems.

Noodles is indifferent to other cats. She doesnt seem to care either way as long as she is left alone. She loves her people and loves to eat. She usually wants to follow her people around the house especially if it involves food. She does not enjoy being in a closed room and will make her displeasure known. She loves all the wet and dry food.

Noodles loves to lie on the back of the couch, by the window in the sun and watch everything outside. She is chatty and dislikes being left in a room with a closed door. Her foster mom has not seen her play very much. She has thick fur that mats easily, thankfully, she enjoys being brushed. Children would be ok with her. Maybe a dog that would ignore her. Another cat would probably be ok, but dont expect them to bond and be forever friends.

ADOPTION FEE $75. We rarely get kittens of any breed. If we do, they will be listed in the “Available for Adoption” section. We can only hold cats for ONE WEEK. IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO ADOPT A CAT NOW, PLEASE WAIT TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Please remember that our cats are located in various foster homes in 6 different midwestern states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota). We do adopt to people out of state but WE DO NOT SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR CATS. You must pick up the cat in person at the foster home. You cannot send a representative. So, you would be looking at a road trip or plane ride. If you cannot do this, please DO NOT APPLY. We do not keep a waiting list for any breeds. Please be sure that you are interested in a specific cat on the “Available for Adoption” page before filling out an application. YOU MUST FILL OUT EVERY SPACE OF THE ADOPTION APPLICATION OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR PROCESSED. Please note: we will contact your vet to make sure your other animals are fixed and up to date on vaccinations. Please notify your vet and give them permission to release your information to SPCR.
