Nomad's Story

Hi! I'm Nomad, one of the "bar flies". I was born in the attic of a local bar with the rest of my litter mates. Fortunately, an observant neighbor saw my mom sneaking in & out and alerted a rescue organization.

Now I'm 10 weeks old & ready to go to find a home. I'm definitely the best kitten in this litter, if I do say so myself. I'm all grey with a white belly, white paws, and a cute little white stash. I'm an adorable kitten, and you can tell that I'm going to be a beautiful adult cat.

But here we are, with me still a kitten. I am a bit of a bossypants. I like things MY way: yummy food that arrives on time, toys that fly, sparkly balls that can be chased, wadded up paper. I'm also a bit of a detective: Whats in that closet? Are you hiding something in the dishwasher? Whats in that box? Boxes are very, very suspicious. I also like to check that you are brushing your teeth properly; that your refrigerator is clean; and whether your waste baskets need emptying. But don't worry - I'm so cute that you wont be able to keep from laughing.

I also have a soft side: I love to snuggle, preferably on you. I like to be held. My purr is top notch. My tuxedo may not be black, but my gray fur is shiny & my white parts are spotless. Litter box - no problem.

There is a small dog here that I mostly ignore. I also get along great with other cats. I must have a feline companion (my siblings are still available - hint, hint) or humans who are home a lot and give me lots of attention. I'm probably not suited to a home with very young ones, as I do play a bit rough at times - although I'm getting better.

Whether you're looking to add one kitten or a bonded duo, your next family member is waiting!

DOB: 3/30/26

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age-appropriate vaccinations.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a physical shelter, therefore all our cats reside in foster homes. We do require a completed application prior to setting up a Meet & Greet in a foster home. COMPLETE AN APPLICATION TODAY! https://www.urbancats.org/adopt

Si necesitas ayuda en Espanol, por favor contactenos a info@urbancats.org.

If cats are listed, consider them available. Please do not email or call us asking if they are still available. Visit our website www.urbancats.org/process for additional information about our organization, adoption policies and adoption fees.

Urban Cat Coalition's Adoption Policy
Adoption Process We are a best match rescue. Our goal is to match the individual pet to where we feel they would be most successful. It is not necessarily first-come, first-served for approved applications. After selecting a cat or kitten you are interested, or if you intend to adopt a cat chosen by our match makers, an application is filled out. Application: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/UCC/Cat The Urban Cat Coalition adoption team will perform background checks, veterinarian reference checks and landlord checks. Once the application review process is complete, you will be contacted by one of our match makers and then you will be put in touch with the foster home to arrange a meet and greet (virtual or in-person) with the kitty you want to adopt. Once you have met the kitty, you and the foster home will decide if it is a good fit. After this step, we have a 24 hour hold to allow you time to be sure adopting is the right decision. The foster family will stay in touch, and they will arrange the final adoption, provide a contract to sign and they will give you the physical copies of the cats medical records. Once they return the contract to our admin, we will email you digital copies of all medical records and register the microchip to you. Please note applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for adopting a cat from Urban Cat Coalition. Adoption fees: • Kittens (Under 7 months) $165 or $305 for two kittens. • Adults (7 months and over) $85 Services included in the adoption fees: - FVRCP Vaccines (appropriate for age of kitten/cat) - Rabies Booster if over 5 months old (Good for 1 year from date given) - Preventative Dewormer - Checked for fleas and ticks - Spay/Neuter - Microchip with lifetime membership
