Noel's Story

Noel is a stunning two-year-old Siamese with a look that stops you in your tracks: silky soft fur, a light grey body offset by dark, dramatic points on her face, legs, tail, and ears, all crowned with mesmerizing baby blue eyes. Her regal look has earned her the nickname, Princess!

Noel is a bit of a slow burn when it comes to new people. Expect her to duck under the couch or a table for the first few days while she sizes up her surroundings, but she's never rude about it. She'll always come say a polite hello to guests before retreating back for a little alone time.

Noel likes to be near her favorite humans, just not on top of them. She's perfectly happy entertaining herself, often shooting a sideways glance at anyone who tries to crash her solo playtime. When she does want affection, she'll let you know by head-butting your hand for pets.

Noel has a soft, girly voice that's more of a delicate "beep" than a true meow, and she only breaks it out when she's hungry or wants company nearby. She's not much of a climber and prefers to keep her paws on the ground. However, with a stick toy in play, she can launch herself more than two feet into the air chasing her favorite "cheese" lure. Her days are easygoing, with five-minute bursts of hunting energy followed by a lot of contented room-surveying. More often than not, you'll find her staring out the window!

Noel is well behaved and very responsive to redirection when curiosity takes over. She is ready to bring her quiet elegance and charm to her fur-ever family!

Noel was born around December 15th 2024. She is a very confident girl and could be a solo cat but also seems to do well with male cats.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Noel, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com.
