This big boy is a gentle giant, so sweet and friendly!<br/>We all hear the stories of how people move and leave their pets behind. Sadly, this is exactly what happened to Nix.<br/>He gets along with other cats, eats well and has excellent litter box manners. Plus he loves belly rubs and is a champion Biscuit Maker!!!<br/>He is FIV + which means he needs to be kept indoors with proper nutrition and get regular vet checkups just like any other cat. No special care is needed.<br/>FIV cannot spread to humans. It is a species-specific virus that only affects cats. FIV cannot infect people, dogs, or other non-feline pets. FIV is primarily transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds.FIV-positive cats can live long, healthy lives and can even live with non-FIV cats safely, provided they do not fight.Nix deserves a chance for a family that will love him - not abandon him. These will need to be kept current after adoption.<br/>Tested Negative for FIV & FELV unless otherwise noted on their profile<br/>Treated with de-wormer, anti-parasitics, flea baths & prevention, ear mites and anything else our vet deems needed for good health. This can sometimes include antibiotics and eye/upper respiratory medicines, etc.<br/>Many of our fosters also use pre/probiotics and vitamins to fully support their tiny immune systems during transitions.<br/><br/>---To meet any of our cats please fill out our adoption application to be approved.
