He came to us when his owner could no longer care for him. He and TT have bonded and are best friends. They are not cuddly with people at this point. Nittany is very selective in his feline friends. Nittany is starting to become more social with people. He LOVES roasted chicken and turkey lunch meat; it's a great way to bond with him. We think he has the potential to be a friendly boy in the right home.<br/><br/>Tiny Terror (female, black) (TT) came to us as an un-socialized kitten. She made a lot of progress and has the potential to blossom further. She loves to play with wand toys; it's a good way to break the ice with her. She also enjoys Churus and temptation treats. She is 3 years old.<br/><br/>Nittany and TT will need a patient person to understand that it will take them time to come out of their shell. In the right home, we think they will become loyal and loving companions. Would you give them that chance?<br/><br/>Nittany is 4 years old. Tiny Terror is 3 years old. They tested negative for FIV & FeLV. They are micro-chipped.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee ($75 for cats 1 year and over or $100 for kittens) includes a free vet visit with one of our participating vets.<br/><br/>All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinated for rabies and distemper and have been treated, if necessary, for fleas and parasites.<br/><br/>We do adoptions by appointment only. We recommend filling out an adoption application first; then you can be pre-approved before your visit. This way if you find a cat/kitten that you connect with, you can take them home the same day. <br/>Applications can be found here: http://schuylerhumane.org/cat-adoption/<br/><br/>We have Open Hours on Mondays and Fridays from 10am – 1pm, Saturdays from 10am - 4pm or Sundays from 2 to 5 pm. People can stop by without an appointment.
