Nino's Story

*Meow* I'm in a foster home! Email my foster caregiver to meet me: claudiarojas94@gmail.com

Meet Nino, a sweet, playful soul who is looking for a patient forever home where he can truly blossom. While Nino is an incredibly affectionate boy who absolutely loves belly rubs (once he knows you!), treats, and curling up in a cozy window hammock, it takes him some time to feel safe. In new environments, he tends to hide under the furniture at first, slowly venturing out during quiet hours. Loud noises don’t bother this brave little guy, but sudden movements can still startle him. A patient, understanding adopter who is content to just sit in the same room and offer gentle encouragement will be rewarded with a loyal, social companion who will eventually follow you everywhere you go.

When he is comfortable, Nino's fun-loving personality really shines! He is a very active kitty who loves playing with feather wands, splashing in his water bowl, and watching "Cat TV" via bird feeder videos or open patio doors. Because Nino didn't have much socialization with other felines growing up, his high-energy, over-eager attempts to play can overwhelm more sensitive cats. He would likely thrive best as an only pet, or with a very confident, laid-back feline companion who doesn't mind a high-energy playmate, making a calm and patient household the absolute perfect fit for him.
