Nile's Story

Nile - The Bold, Beautiful Queen Bee

Nile is a stunning 7-month-old black-and-white cat who has transformed so much since arriving as an extremely feral baby. She's still cautious with new people, but she is the brave leader of her little duo (Tigris is her brother) - the one who sizes up every situation first and decides how she and her brother should react.

Nile is curious, playful, and endlessly busy exploring her world. Anything becomes a toy in her paws, and she's especially obsessed with laser pointers, splashing in the water dish, and-much to her foster mom's dismay-chewing on cardboard and even her felt bed.

This girl is incredibly food motivated. Offer her a lickable treat and suddenly she becomes a whole different cat - it's the one time you can touch her freely and even pick her up for a moment. She'll likely always be a little standoffish with strangers, but with patience, she will grow fiercely loyal to her person.

Nile must have another friendly cat in her future home (or go home with her brother Tigris). She trusts animals far more than people, and she absolutely adores the resident cats in her foster home. With a gentle kitty role model and a patient human, Nile will blossom into a loving, loyal companion.

-----------------------------------------

If you're interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. An approved application is required before we can schedule a meet & greet. Once approved, we'll work with you to ensure it's a great fit-and if it's not, no worries!
