When you first meet Niko, you will find him in his favorite spot, his comfy bed. He isn't the type of cat to come out and greet you directly; you have to work just a little bit to earn his trust. He expects you to come to him to give him his scritches, before he decides if it is worth coming out of his comfy warm bed. After several good chin and cheek scratches, Niko will stretch his leg and eventually make his way out of his bed to snuggle up to you. Once he warms up to you he will ask for all the attention that you are willing to give him. He doesn't show it often but he does have a playful side too and loves to play with rope toys.
