Nickel's Story

Meet Nickel, a sleek black kitten with a gentle heart and a curious spirit. He’s still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place, so he may be a little shy at first — but underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet boy with all the makings of a wonderful lifelong companion.

Nickel loves to explore, chase toys, and romp around with his sisters, especially once he feels comfortable. His playful side shines brighter every day, and with a little patience and encouragement, his confidence continues to grow. He would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone willing to give him the time and reassurance he needs while he learns that new people and places aren’t so scary after all.

If you’re looking for a kitten to bond with and watch blossom, Nickel could be the perfect little friend to grow alongside you.

Nickel will have an adoption fee of $105 with an approved adoption application. This fee will cover the cost of his neuter, vaccination given in shelter, dewormer, and FIV combo test. Nickel is not old enough to receive his Rabies vaccination.

If you'd like to be considered for Nickel's adoption, you may submit an adoption application here:
https://libertymissouri.gov/FormCenter/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-7/Liberty-Animal-Shelter-Adoption-Applicat-543

The Liberty Animal Shelter is open Monday and Tuesday 10a to 5p, Wednesday through Friday 10a to 6p, and 10a to 3p on the weekends.
*hours are subject to change*

We cannot guarantee the availability of any particular animal.
