What is Memphis Pets Alive!’s adoption process?
CATS The Memphis Pets Alive! adoption fees for cats are 95.00. We also offer pair discount fees. All fees covers spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, and FIV/FeLV testing on all cats and kittens. Please note: Adopters must be at least 21 years of age. Current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered. Vet references must be provided. Cats must be indoor only and declawing is not allowed. Adopters must be local to the Greater Memphis area. If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, please email cats@memphispetsalive.org for an adoption questionnaire. DOGS The Memphis Pets Alive! adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $150. This fee covers spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, deworming, and a heartworm test (if the dog is of age). Adopters must be at least 21 years of age. Current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered. Dogs should be considered part of the family and should not be outside only. Vet references must be provided. Adopters must be local to the Greater Memphis area.
