Newt: video!!'s Story

*If interested in adopting, please READ and follow instructions below. If he is not marked pending, he is still available, please just submit an application.*<br/><br/>**I am in foster in Greensburg**<br/><br/>**I have been waiting for a home since April 2026**<br/><br/>*brown tabby and white medium hair polydactyl <br/>*About 1 year as of April 2025<br/>-Newton Newt came to us after being stuck in a tree overnight. Firemen rescued him after a kind teacher called. He had been in some kind of accident and needed medical care for a wound on his side and shoulder as well as what we think might have been the beginning of frost bite on his back feet. After 6 weeks of weekly treatments, you would never know he was injured. Newt is a shy cat and has decided people are ok, but he doesnt really want pets (we think he associates his foster with the pain of recovering from his wounds). He loves toys and treats and playing , but pets he needs to get used to. He needs an adopter who can slowly work with him and get him used to them in a smaller area over time and be patient with him. He loves Churus and playing with dangly toys! He is interested in other cats, but would need a slow introduction and I think a confident cat would get him out of his shell! <br/><br/>He is neutered, negative for Felv/FIV, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and on flea prevention. He will be adopted to an indoor only home and the adopter will sign a contract that he cannot be declawed. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Adoption fee is $50 for a single cat which includes all the vetting above.

Judge's Park's Adoption Policy
**Please scroll down on any animal you are interested in and read their profile thoroughly. It tells all relevant information on the animal and also how you can begin the adoption process!** If interested in adopting an animal from Judge's Park, you must first fill out our adoption application at https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html. Once we get that completed and sent to us we can set up a visit to see the animal you are interested in. We cannot set up visits before we receive the application. Judge's Park does not have open hours and animals are visited by appointment only. No exceptions! Rabbits and cats require a home visit prior to adoption. We may or may not ask you of a picture of your cage and set up if adopting another type of animal. We have the right to refuse adoption to ANYONE. Adoption appointments, surrenders, or other visits are at the time scheduled. Not before and not after. If you arrive early, we ask that you wait in your car until your appointment time. If you will be over 30 minutes late, we ask that you reschedule for another day. We cannot schedule appointments after 6:30 in the evening. No calls no shows will NOT be rescheduled. Please be respectful of the people who take their time to run this rescue and their personal time that could be spent with their families. We strive to adopt animals to the best home that we can find for them. Many of them have been neglected, abandoned, and abused, and we will not allow them to be returned to such an environment. If we do not think a home is suitable, we will not place an animal in that home. All of our animals are adopted out as indoors only! If we are able, the animal will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption (all cats and rabbits). No animal will ever be adopted out for breeding. If you do not live close to us and are interested in an animal, we do work with transports. Pictures and/or video in lieu of a home visit may be required. All questions can be directed to judges.park@yahoo.com
