Newt's Story

Newt came to us as an undersocialized kitten rescued from a hoarding situation. Understandably, he started off very shy--but with time, patience, and love, he's really started to blossom.

These days, Newt enjoys spending time with people and is becoming more playful and curious. He still has a gentle, cautious nature and can be a bit skittish in new situations, so he'd thrive in a calm, mellow home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace.

Newt would do well as a solo cat or with another gentle, low-key feline friend. He's already come so far, and we know there's even more of his sweet personality just waiting to shine through.

If you're looking for a quiet companion with a big heart and the potential to grow into a loving, loyal friend, Newt might be the perfect match.
