Meet Nesta <br/><br/>Nesta's story is one of resilience, love, and second chances.<br/><br/>At just about a year old herself, Nesta was already raising six tiny kittens. She was found behind a convenience store with her babies, doing everything she could to keep them alive despite being dangerously underweight. She was little more than skin and bones, yet she never stopped caring for her kittens. Even in such difficult circumstances, she was an incredible mama—protective, attentive, and endlessly loving. Against all odds, she raised six healthy, happy kittens.<br/><br/>Now that her babies are growing up, it's finally Nesta's turn to be cared for.<br/><br/>With good food, a safe home, and lots of love, she's reached a healthy weight and is thriving. She has an appointment scheduled to be spayed, and after raising six kittens, she'll finally get to enjoy a life that's all about her.<br/><br/>Nesta is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. She has never once tried to scratch or show aggression. She's affectionate, gentle, and absolutely adores people. Unlike her quieter kittens, Nesta is wonderfully chatty and isn't shy about asking for attention. She'll happily "talk" to you when she'd like some pets or cuddles, and she's happiest curled up beside you or in your lap. If you're looking for a true cuddle bug, Nesta is your girl.<br/><br/>She has received topical flea prevention and deworming. Before going to her forever home, she will be spayed, receive her FVRCP vaccine, and be microchipped.<br/><br/>Nesta's spay appointment is scheduled for about two weeks from now. If you'd like to welcome her home sooner, you're more than welcome to adopt her before her surgery and either bring her back for her scheduled appointment or have the procedure done by your own veterinarian (we will give $100 toward the treatment). <br/><br/>After spending the first year of her life taking care of everyone else, it's finally Nesta's turn to be someone's baby. She deserves a family who will spoil her with the same unconditional love she so selflessly gave to her six kittens.
