Rescued over two years ago in poor shape, Nemo has transformed into a total lovebug who adores people, playtime, and being the center of attention.<br/><br/>He welcomes affection from everyone he meets, offering walk-by body bumps and deep, rumbling purrs. Nemo loves to play and needs daily playtime to stay happy and relaxed. Especially with his favorite fluffy worm toy! After a good play session (and some zoomies), he’s content to curl up nearby, holding paws as he purrs himself to sleep.<br/><br/>Nemo’s adorable head tilt and “wonky” ear are souvenirs from surgery that treated a painful ear infection and inner ear polyp. Although he is now half-deaf and a little off-balance, it doesn’t slow him down — he still hears you the moment your feet hit the floor!<br/><br/>Due to his history of not knowing when his next meal would come, Nemo has food insecurity, and needs the reassurance of consistent mealtimes. Because of this, it is important for Nemo to be fed separately from other pets (no free-feeding) and for counters to be kept snack-free.<br/><br/>Despite his past trauma, Nemo has made tremendous strides in foster care, where his confidence has bloomed and he happily coexists with a friendly resident kitty.
