Hi, I'm Nelly. I'm a softhearted 2-year-old torbie girl. I was an owner surrender to PCAPS through no fault of my own--too many of us and not enough time... Since then, I have been transferred here to TAPS and am waiting for a forever home where I can be completely loved and let my personality shine. I'm a gentle soul. I like soft voices, calm hands, and slow, reassuring pets. I lean into affection once I get comfortable with you. Big changes are scary to a sensitive girl like me--but underneath the uncertainty is a very sweet, loving companion. I do well with other cats, have been around children previously and am reported to do fine with them as well. If you will give me time to feel safe and learn your routines, I will show you just how much love a quiet girl can give.
