What is Jefferson SPCA’s adoption process?

Applicants must fill out the application completely to be processed. We do landlord, property ownership and vet checks. If it's a dog or cat with special needs we will do a home visit to make sure we set them up for success. We don't do same day adoptions because we want to make sure it's the right fit for our adoptable animal and for you. We don't want anyone to rush into an adoption of an animal because it is a lifetime commitment. We want to find forever homes for our animals that will always put them as a priority when making decisions about life and moving, etc. An inquiry/introduction on Petfinder is NOT an application.

What is Nash’s adoption fee?
