NAPA's Story

Meet Napa

Some cats find their way to rescue after a difficult journey, and Napa is one of those special souls.

This handsome short-haired grey tabby and white boy is about a year and a half old. He was found as a stray at a Napa Auto Parts store, trying to make his way through life on his own. When he arrived in our care, he was heartbreakingly thin and showed signs of an old flea allergy that had left some areas of fur loss. The good news is that he has been treated, is feeling much better, and now just needs time, good nutrition, and love for his coat to grow back to its full glory.

Despite whatever hardships he faced before being rescued, Napa has remained incredibly sweet. He loves people and isn't shy about telling you so—this vocal young cat enjoys chatting with his human friends and letting them know exactly what's on his mind. Whether he's greeting you, asking for attention, or simply carrying on a conversation, Napa's affectionate personality shines through.

Napa is proof that kindness can survive even the toughest circumstances. He has left his days of fending for himself behind and is ready for a home where he'll never have to wonder where his next meal, warm bed, or loving touch will come from.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and plenty to say, Napa is waiting to meet you. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $50.
